The 2007 Bavarian bunch Toy Run Event
>> bringing Toys and joy to children in need
Grafenwöhr. Ines Gutt, Headmistress of the Lutheran Children’s daycare center "Kunterbunt" was very happy about the Toy Donation in form of a new tricycle. The President of the MVMC (Military Veterans Motorcycle Club United States Bavarian Bunch Chapter) Gerhard Schnabel presented the new, approximately 300 euro Toy for the Children’s Park.
Rough, hard-edged, wild and free-spirited. That’s how most people would envision the typical Biker. However, under the protective leather gear, helmets and Jeans-vests often beat soft hearts. That at least was proven by the members of the MVMC with their Toy Donation for the Children’s daycare center “Kunterbunt”. The Motorcycle Club, established in 2000 in America, by veterans and active members of the US Military, today counts over 150 members world-wide. A German branch of the MVMC evolved as early as 2003. By now the Chapter around the town of Grafenwöhr already counts 13 German and American “Bikerfriends”. The Club’s goals lie in the comradery and support of social charities, like the Children’s Clinic in Erlangen for example. Of course family gatherings and bike-tours cannot be missing either. The Restaurant Koh Samui in Grafenwöhr serves as the Chapter’s Clubhouse. There the guys and girls meet every Tuesday at 7pm. Those interested in the MVMC are always welcome. Membership however is only possible with an active or veterans status in the US or German Military, as well as ownership of a Motorcycle 450ccm or higher and a valid drivers license. Ines Gutt thanked the Bikers for their generous donation and wished them always an accident free ride.
