The MVMC Gets Dirty
>> Help for the local Day Care Center
Grafenwöhr. The Bavarian Bunch rolled up their sleeves on two Saturdays in April (04.12.2008 and 04.19.2008) to support the garden renovations at the local lutheran Day Care Center "Kunterbunt".
Usually the men around Gerhard Schnabel, President of the MVMC Bavarian Bunch, spend their spare time leisurely on their motorcycles. Their April program however included cement mixers, wheel barrels and shovels.
The Motorcycle Club, established in 2000 in America, by veterans and active members of the US Military, today counts over 150 members world-wide. A German branch of the MVMC evolved as early as 2003. By now the Chapter around the town of Grafenwöhr already counts 13 German and American “Bikerfriends”. One of the Club’s goals is the support of social charities. In 2007 they made a Toy Donation to the Day Care Center “Kunterbunt” (click here for full article). So when the Day Care Center needed help restoring the gardens this April, MVMC once again rounded up their troops and went to work.
Heidi Deubzer, who represented the Principal Ines Gutt, thanked the MVMC for their continued support.
